Daly and relating primarily to his paternal grandfather, Patrick Daly, who left Ireland for Australia and New Zealand (1860-1870), and then came to Minneapolis with his family. There is also information on other members of the Daly family in Ireland and the United States; on friends who remained in the New Zealand gold fields; and on Frank Daly's career as a civil engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul Division (1930s-1960s). Also included is a Fireman's exempt certificate issued to Daly by the Minneapolis Fire Department. -
